Josh Gibson broke into the Negro League when he was 17 with the Homestead Grays- near the end of the 1929 season. At that time- Babe Ruth was still hitting well over 40 home runs and batting over a .300 average per season with the New York Yankees. This elegant art piece depicts the two greats on the field.
